trying to backup xenosaga 1 to hdd

thanks i will try out that file and see whats up.

oh the link to ppf o matic 3 is saying that the "archive is either damage or in unknown format." can't open or save.

don't know what is wrong. anyone having problem trying to open or save the link above.

i can now download the two previous linked files. thanks Breath of Fire. and sorry everyone if i've bothered you.
My problems: when i couldn't download the links to ppf-o-matic3 was, because i ran out of hdd space on my pc!(when decrypting and extracting all xenosaga files). duh. stupid me. Man those dvd9 games can really takes up space.
Oh by the way Breath of Fire, whats differences does pdx-pom3.zip do compared to ppf-o-matic3.rar files? just wanted to know with one i really need to get my xeno game to work.

Same thing, you click the file then it opens up and you select your games .ISO then you select the .PPF to apply to the games .ISO once it applys you are done and it should work perfectly on your PS2.

Does the patch only make the game work or will it provide cheats on the game? the nfo file said something about game trainers and i thought that would be a cheat code included also.

I think it just fixes the game for HD Loader it might add cheats but if it does you would be able to select them when you first boot up the game, I don't think it has cheats though.

oh all right then, that would be cool though.
anyway i have apply the patch to the iso image and this time i get a black screen. it didn't get to the boot up screen. turn black as soon as i press "x" or "start".
When applying the patch: 1) Do i create an iso image with dvd decrypter, and then apply the patch and send it.OR
2). Do i go through the guide of rebuilding it to the point when i am ready to send it over with winhiip, then apply the patch to the new rebuild iso.

Try both, and use mode 2

i've try both method and enable mode 2 alone on each method. didn't work. i know i've applied the patch correctly, but i think that patch may not be compatible for ntsc version or universal. i'v already started from scratch. i deleted the old iso and anything dealing with xeno's files. will start over again.
Anything else Breath of Fire?

I have no idea, it should work perfectly! You are using HD Loader v0.7c right?
