    I have:
-a 1 TB extenal USB HDD
-40gb HDD connected to my PS2 with the network adapter thing
    -swap magic 3.6
-an exploited PS2 (uLaunch elf, HDLoader)
    -small USB Flash drive

My question is can I transfer my game ISO's between them (like transfer games from the USB HDD to the internal HDD and vice-versa)? My 40gb HDD currently plugged into my PS2 runs out of space real quick and I have a couple of games I'd like to play. Now I know that there's USBAdvance/Extreme, but some of the games are not compatible with that USB but with the regular HDD. Anyone have quick/easy solution?

You just need to get you a 120-200 GB Internal Hard drive, and load up your games with HD Loader .8c, it has large compatablity. I mean you can get up to whatever size you want. I, myself have a 320GB I have alot of games on there, but also movies, emulators and roms as well. The choice is " How many of those games you have do you play?" and which ones do you play that often.

There is absolutely no way to quickly transfer large files over the super-slow USB 1.1 interface of a PS2/PStwo console.

Your only chance of getting quick and convenient access to more HDLoader games than the 40GB drive can hold is to upgrade to a larger internal IDE HDD, just like djflexmaster79 suggested.

The PS2 is capable of using very large drives, but only if they have traditional IDE (== ATA == PATA) interface, so don't run off and by some SATA drive for it, as their interface is not compatible. Also remember that HDLoader has a limit on the total number of installed games, which I think is 255, so a whole TeraByte or above would probably be extreme overkill. (Unless you plan to store a lot of video files in non-HDL partitions.)

    The simple answer is ....no

The USB {FAT32 format}and IDE {PS2 format} HDDs are not compatible with each other in the respect of transfering Games. They both need there own special apps to install games to either and you can not just copy a game to either as they MUST be installed by a program designed to install them for them to work with the Game launching programs.
    Anyone have quick/easy solution?
yes, Winhiip has an option to copy HDD to HDD by connecting both HDDs to your PC. You can use a USB port with your PC, but it still must be a IDE HDD , but you can use a USB to IDE connector or a USB enclosure {removable drive type}.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded
