TDK Drive

I have a TDK 32X10X48
1 out of 5 times it says spindle failure..is this a hardware issue or software?..it only started when i started using fireburner and clone cd....i've been writing in rawdao mode..i heard that can kill your burner...any suggestions?

what speed are u trying to burn at? try burning at low speeds and see what happens. also any software that u use try to get buffer underrun protection option. if ur winblows system has low RAM or low processor speed, dont be running any other process on ur machine as burning is CPU intensive. also it could be serious hardware problem. and TDK drives are known to have some probs.
