i deem sucessful as NO noise made by the console when reading the cdr..

i tried smartbuy, and memorex at 1,4,8 X but there is lots of noise when reading from it but it can boot and play fine.

    what do you all suggest?
    TIA

i use verbatin cdr's and tdk dvd-r's and havent had a problem yet. Havent had a coaster yet on the tdk dvd-r's. For best results, read at slowest speed when making image, and burn at 1x. The results have been great for me.

Arrrrrrrr, I use Imation and TDK cdrs, so I do! Most of me coasters are from me own foolishness (like not cleaning the cd before making the image). Both kinds are bit higher on the price scale....tis worth it if'n ya ask me. Arrrrrrrr
