Successful DVD9 God of War backup?

Has anyone been able to make a successful backup of their GOW game onto a +/- DL DVD without the game freezing??

I've tried both -R DL and +R DL but they both freeze at the same exact spot...

I don't want the chopped DVD5 version.. I wanna keep it original..

Anyone??!?!

Yeap, my backup works fine.

At what point does it freeze?

I am playing my backup on a v12 with a MI chip, v1.75 fw.

Never had any problems with it.

What media did you use for your back up?

I've never personally played it, but 2 of my friends mentioned that they freeze right before meeting a big boss or something...

They both have a v4 with crystal booting off the BM.... And they tryed with and w/out the BM.. same results...

I used a Ritek DVD-R DL and a Ritek DVD+R DL both with same results..

hii i new here.. am.. i have the same problem i backup this game to DVD9 on +R DL from RITEK and i burn 2 times.. and both freeze at the start of the game.. some one finde how to fix that../?

does it freeze in the cinematic right after you do the light beam thing?

I'm at this part and it craps out for me every time, though my copy is on HDLoader.

I'm not exactly sure where it freezes.. It was a friend that told me about it... He said it was right before some kind of big monster or something like that... And he also mentioned that it happens at the exact same place to another guy that he knows... And I burned them on a DVD-R DL AND a DVD+R DL.... Both burned at 2x on Ritek...

They both have the crystal using BM 1.18 (latest hacked version)....

from what iv herd verbatim are suposed to make the best dl media

Patching the image with toxic dl patcher(you may get it by GOOGLE)

I attached the Toxic Dual Layer patcher make sure you use DVD+R DL and that your burner booktypes the DVD+R DL

I´ve have a copy of the game on Verbatim DVD+DL and it works great in both my v9 Crystal Chip 1.0 Fw 1.4 and my V13 CC 1.1 Fw 1.9
and my friends v9 with an old Bootchip and his v5 Duo2SE
and all I´ve done is to Toxic patch it first.
