STR file extractor?

Hi guys,

Been scanning through the forums trying to find info on how to extract the files from a STR file and cant find anything.

Can anyone help, as im trying to extract the cut scenes from Butt Ugly Martians Zoom or Doom game (yeah pretty naff game I know!)

Reason im trying to extract them is that I was one of the animators for them a couple of years ago and the only versions I got were VERY low res mpg files and not the complete set

Any help would be greatfully appreciated as ive searched all over and could only find str extractors for the ps1

tried google etc but like i mentioned, just seems to come up with ps1 stuff.

Thought id ask on here as with it been regarding backups etc, and that some games would need modding etc, that someone might have had a tool to use etc.

if it's ps2 then it is most likely PSS video. Theres a lot of stuff on the net to scan and extract these files from ISO. After you have extracted the pss video use PSSplex to demux the pss into an mpeg2 video file and a .WAV file

use psxplay for STD files, always works for me.
and if you want ONE software to do ALL the trick, use "cube media player"
works great for me, its trial version can be used forever without any limit, and it even plays xbox videos. the bad thing is, i've been searching for a crack or serial number, but found none

Hello I'm a newb and am also looking for a way to extract a cut-scene from a ps2 Street Fighter Anniversary gallery.It uses AFS, SFD, and IRX files I'm not a programmer, So I don't know whats what.
