Startling Revelation? Games read better....
Startling Revelation? Games read better.... –

My friend has had his Neo modchip for a couple years now, which has always had problems reading games for the last 6 months. I've been downloading games for him to try so he can go buy it if he likes it, (his loading times are HELL).
Recently, when I bought a game and copied it for him to try, I expected the same results, slow (if it wasn't already!) loading times, ridiculously choppy movies, etc. BUT instead the game worked just LIKE NORMAL. (Burned Ritek btw)
To be sure, I downloaded a game (FFX-2, USA ORGASM release) and burned it for him. SUPER CHOPPY movies and loading times were so slow you could take a nap in between scenes.
I bought the game myself, burned it for him and all issues solved....
Was this ever known? I had no idea yet i've been cruising these forums for 1+ year.
Just my 2 cents

is it ok to mention the titles of the games u download? its not allowed in other forums like zeropaid since it may get the forum in legal trouble but i dunno about here.

It's ok as long as he doesn't mention where he downloaded it from. And regarding carny's post, the reason why the downloaded games don't run as well could be any number of things. The FF games in particular are very laser intensive and that could be the explanation. Try making your own iso of the game and see if it performs any differently.

Well the backup that i downloaded AND the one i made from my own game work fine....just differently on my friend's ps2.
I just thought people should know....it seems better to buy the game to make backups of your own media if you know how, rather then getting them elsewhere
