splitting dvd game backup into multiple cd-rs

i have seen ps2 game backups of a full dvd-r game split into 2-3 cd-rs. how can i make a copy of a ps2 game that is to big to fit on a cd-r, by splitting it into 2+ cds? i remember using this awesome site that had a patch to almost every game i could imagine. its purpose was to use swap mods with the games, the patchs would patch the .isos and rip them down to 680mb or less, or it would split it into two seperate iso images to burn. any ideas how i can go about doing this myself? i dont hav a dvd burner and its really an inconvenience

It sounds like it would be a pain in the arse. I don't know of any utilities to do it for you if thats what your looking for. Other wise you'd have to actually go in and edit code.
