I have a PAL(V7 I think) version of PS2 with a Matrix mxl2 chip. I also use a HDD with HDloader. Whenever I get a NTSC backup I tend to always use the ntsc2pal with y-fix patcher.

    Now the problem.

In some NTSC games that I have patched, the sound stutters in rendered movies and the sound is out of sync in ingame cutscenes (It starts good but it seems that the sound goes "faster" than the picture, so in the end the sound is way before the picture). This happened in Devil May Cry3 Jap for instance.

Could this be a side-effect from switching from 60hz to 50hz or is it the hdloader or maybe my ps2? or everything? And anyone heard of this problem before? Any fix for it?

Yep 50hz/60Hz thingy, i have Legend of Kay, and if i set it on 60Hz (NTSC), the sound on the intro stutters and goes out of sync, but if i choose 50Hz (PAL) everything is ok. Although my TV supports PAL and NTSC, but since Legend of Kay was only released in Europe, i think it has big problems in 60Hz mode.

    Great game by the way.
