sound problem with xenosaga ep2

i've burned xenosaga ep2 twice now 1 time with alcohol 120% and with dvdecrypter.....both time hav ethe same effect. During cut scenes the sound will cut off, but just the vocals and music when i hit start i still hear the sound it makes. Movies are a big part of it cause they are cool. any idea why? i use cogswap to boot it and devil may cry 1 is my oem ps2 game i use for TOC. I used cdvdgen to try and shrink it but that only takes off like 20kilobytes. so any ideas?

Probably bad media or burn.

Your PS2 could be having a hard time reading in the data as the movie plays and doesn't read it in time, then barfs on itself.
