Sound Goes Out On Game

i have made a few backups using alcohol 120% and played them on my modded ps2 with a messiah 2 pro mod chip and the games lose the sound while playing them. anyone know why the sound goes out?

really strange problem. does the sound go out after a certain amount of time playing or does it go out in particular parts of games. (like at one point in the story line) seems like this is a chip/install issue not an issue with your backups.

it goes out at random so there really isn't any amount of time play before the sounds goes out and i restart the console and the sound works fine. so do you have any suggestions to fix this problem?
