It will and you will be looking at spending between $300 and $350 for one. It is also picky on what media it uses from what I have heard.

I paid $350 for mines, wouldn't trade it for no other burner. It's the best, I have no problem using memorex dvd +'s on it. (for ps2) no probs

I have one too and I love it. I've had no problems with cheap DVD-R media. I'm using Optodisc and Ritek media, and both burn at 2x with the latest firmware, and my US rev 4 PS2 likes them just fine. I paid $1 a disc when I bought them in spools of 50. The place I got the ritek media just started to carry 4x ritek media, but I haven't had a chance to get some.

  5. #5 Question DVD-R Double sided
    elmonta Guest
I have a Ricoh +R +RW burner and I´m curious about the double sided DVD-R discs that available from some places, Anyone tried those ?

I heard that MGS2 Substance and some others are DVD9 games, since there are no DVD+R double sided.

Any of you tried burning with a Pionner or sony burners any of those ?
