ok i patched the game and i still cant go online. heres what i did

I Put Socom II cdrip into my computer then used WinImage to make an ISO.

Then went into the D: drive and searched for dnas*.img. Only one file came up Dnas271.img.

Then I copied that into the same directory as the Disc ID Changer. I opened up the command prompt and typed in ?diskid3 dnas271.nip dnas271.img B4:C8:09:30:FC? It said it was successful.

Then I opened up cdmage and went to the directory where the DNAS file was. I right cliked on dnas271.img and clicked import. Then I browsed to the directory where the patched file was and selected it and it said it was imported successfully.

So I close cdmage and open up cdrwin and burned the image on mode2 cdromxa.

anyone know what the problem is?

What was the problem? Still getting DNAS auth errors?

First, I think you should be using a full copy of the DVD--not a rip. Second, make sure you know which region your choosen copy of socom II is from, be it NTSC US, NTSC JAP, etc. Then you have to find a discID that matches the region your copy of SocomII is from.

I'd guess it is more the CDrip thing than anything else though...

Best Option : go to www.ps2nfo.com and ask there. there are 1000s of experts on the DNAS thing there. But I personally feel that u didnt patch it right !!!
