...ok,i've read these forums pretty thoughly,and still feel confused about,most all of it,ill start by saying that i tried really friggin' hard to 'soft-mod' my fat ps2,ver.6 i belive,tried everything my dumbass could absorb from this blessed forum with less than success(anybody want to buy some shiny dvd-r's?),luckly the G.S people like me and took my voided ps2 back and hooked me up with a fresh slim,its nice to know there are still cool people in this f'd up world...anyway,i thought a guide in the form of a walkthrough(which every gamer is acustom to),and also worded in the utmost simplist terms,might be appriceated by a good bit of people, and seeing that were all at the end of the ps2 life span,i see justification in promoting such a topic,but i have much respect to the creators and moderaters of this forum,so if you dont want this, you have my blessing to remove it...

ok-currently obtained ingredients:
-ps2 slim
-a buttload of files,i.e. ELFs,copied S.M disks-DVD&CD(dont seem to do squat but its very likely that i did not burn them correctly-help?-),pretty much all the stuff i could pick up here an through Torrs)...to much to list.
-light-on DVD-rw, burner(burns all types Of DVD media formats(i.e. dual,+,_)
-stockpile of '+' & '-"dvd's(not wanting to shell out the needed duckets for dual-layer until i get a sucessfull system worked out.
-slim ps2 ethernet port(Der,it comes with it)
-GameShark2,Action Replay EVO(with flash drive).
-and Nero OEM for my burns
-and im sure ive left much out,like iso buster and stuff like that...

ok,well i guess ill start by asking what step one would be...

p.s. people please use the most simplistic terms and processes,and PLEASE dont let this post ecome overwelmed with B.S.flames,or a rediculus amount of conflicting methods.
