Silent Hill 3 –
05-03-2003,11:32 PM
Anyone been able to get it to work on a V7 with swap magic 2.0, on a NTSC machine?
Also anyway to remove the selector and make it just NTSC?
When I swap the disks and load SH3 all I get is a black screen with "Silent Hill 3" at bottom right...
Thanks

your pretty much screwed unless, you or paradox decides to make a trainer which moves the selector, and you cant use a GS to beet it either

remove the selector?
its a pal game, with a built in selector, you can 'remove' it

will this boot with a action replay 2?
its not a selector anyway just a 50/60hz option which they finally decided to include.

its a dvd, so a normal action replay wont work, ya'd need another original dvd (thought you probably alreadu know that)
its under 4gb, so most dvds should boot it

does the ntsc look ok on a normal ntsc tv? i know some games with a pal/ntsc selector looks like shit (off center, etc).

NTSC mode works fine. Perfectly centered. There's also an option to adjust the screen position in options too.
