I do not have many Ideas about it.
What program did you use to burn the patched image?

I tried just once, and I got it working right away. I used Alcohol 120% to burn the patched image.

So other than advising you to give it another try at lower speed, I got nothing much that I can telll you to help you with it.

go to http://www.geocities.com/jayteemaster2003 and download the pal to ntsc patcher. Read the important.txt included in the zip. Should tell you everything you need to know to convert it.
