Has anyone here ever used cogswap, cdloader, or zoneloader to play a dvd9? I have never talked to anyone that has. I've heard that it can be done if your TOC disc is a dvd9. I've also heard that the TOC disc only needs to be bigger than the first layer of the backup dvd9. And I've heard that these programs won't boot dvd9. A difinitive answer from someone who has done it would be nice.

If you TOC disk is DVD9 then yes it should work with Cogswap. I don't know about the other two.

After I spent money of these DL's? Feh!

To be honest I would be perfectly happy playing without creator. To be blunt, creator songs sound like crap.

Yeah PS2 (and probably wii) had their music creators nerfed. It's more of a midi hero type deal lol

FIE! It was my burner! (Or the firmware, hard to tell)

So I burned 2 copies, once with Nero 7 and the other with ImgBurn. Both said that Boht Layers were copied and that all was well.

However, like said earlier, couldn't load 2nd layer with ESR. On a hunch I popped both discs into my burner to see the file size. 3.67 GIGS?! WTF?!

So for whatever reason, both programs think they are burning both layers but they didnt.

I'm blaming the generic microsoft Drivers for this. (I have a Samsung SH-S182D BTW)
I'm updatiing the firmware, hope that will do it. :-/

    Any other suggestions?

UPDATED FRONT PAGE.. Use Apache 2 as Apache 3 will rewrite files..

Looks like psychospacef is Da Man/Women..

Looks like they really know there stuff on that site..

    As of now Psycho wrote:
"28000Hz is slightly too high (The iso is 4.4GB right now), I'm going to change the downsampling rate to 27000Hz. There will only be three stages, one from layer0, one from layer1 and the tool stage."

Bootzz (in response to many posts) wrote:
"He had to down sample all 80-someodd tracks again to get it under 4.37g, don't worry, he was on late last night working on it, it will come."

    Psycho just wrote:
the kit will be here soon, I just built the ISO now (I've been at uni for the last 3 hours), I just have to test to make sure it's all working, create delta files for the ripkit and upload it. It won't be anywhere near the size of my Rock Band kit, it'll be 5MB tops.
