first, hi all! great site and i did search and still can't answer this... soooo
ok a couple weeks ago i borrowed my friends disk and read it and saved all the files as they appear on the disk onto my hard drive.. its just folders and files... 3.5 gigs worth... i tried using nero to just burn that onto a dvd (because i just now got the burner) and it didn't work... what format should it be? and what programs do you guys think i need to do it? any info would be great!
    thanks

err...you copied the files directly? That's a new one....supposed to be copy protection to prevent that from happening. You porbably didn't get evrerything needed to create a working copy--like maybe the root files (system.cnf, SLUSXXX.XX, etc.). It's best to follow the posted tutorials and create an image first, then create the CD or DVD from that image.
