Rogue Galaxy - proper burning to DL?
Rogue Galaxy - proper burning to DL? –

Hello,
Does the iso file of the dvd9 version of Rogue Galaxy contain
the information neccessary for a burning program such as
DVDDecrypter to properly set the layerbreak?
Apache2 tells me the iso has two layers and I can browse
the contents of them. I tried backing up this game using
above mentioned iso and DVDDecrypter and the game boots
fine. When checking the DVD+DL I see that the data is evenly
distributed across both layers. Is that the way this game is
supposed to be or does it require a very specific layerbreakpoint?
If so, what program can load this iso and burn it to DL using
(if at all present in the iso) this proper layerbreak?
Kind regards, Gouki

It's fine for the layers to be even. I've never had to specify a layer break point on any of my DL games. You can use imgburn to burn a dual layer iso. It will calculate the best layer break position, which is usually an even data split. Just make sure to patch with toxic's dual layer patch if your modchip does not support dual layer games. No need to patch if your modchip supports DL games.

Thanks, haven't played much but so far it works fine.
I was wondering if the PS2 expects certain files to
be on a specific layer or position.
I finished God of War 2 DVD9 and it worked perfectly
burned using CloneCD with standard settings.
No need to patch the image since I'm using a Matrix Infinity.
