RecordNow vs PrimoDVD –
09-27-2002,11:59 AM
Does the new Veritas RecordNow DX DVD/CD Writing Software work good for ps2 dvd's? Is PrimoDVD better? I'm about to buy a Pioneer DVR-XXX and want to now if it works first. If not where can I d/l primo?
Also, what's all this I hear about DVD9? I hear there's a ps2 game like that. If so, can Pioneer dvd burners burn these (with the right media) ?
thanx

RecordNow Max works great!
Until now there're only two DVD-9 PS2 games out there.
- Xenosaga and "I forget the name"
And no, there's no DVD drive which you can burn in DVD-9 format, however we can do the same thing as DVD to CD rip for DVD-9, for example, with 2 DVD-Rs you can have any full DVD-9 title.

Cool... I'll be anxiouly waiting to read through your tutorial as to how you successfully split Xenosaga into two working DVD-Rs as well as where you decided to put the disc-swap points...

Veritas makes both apps and they share the same Px burning engine (and use the same Px engine updates.) The choice is yours. As for where, use the Search function here and you should find a UK link...
