A few people said that this game (Total Overdose: A Gunslingerīs Tale in Mexico) works with ESR when you rebuild it like you would for use with Swap Magic.
My Google-foo seems to be lacking in this case, I can only find one tutorial for doing this and it is kind of lacking in details.
Can anyone post/point me to a good detailed tutorial for rebuilding a game for use with swap magic?
    Thank you.

I had tested this game some time ago with esr r9a and it worked without rebuilding it.

But if you want to rebuild, there are a few methods you can use

Two of them are listed here, using either 'Nero' or ISOBUSTER and CDVDGEN
    Code:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/240287#1341793
Another method would be to use gnie's Xpert Tool V2
You can download from this post
    Code:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/53/275350#4070885
    1. Select the Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5 v1.04_iso.epi on the plugins drop down list.
    2. Select the iso you want to rebuild.
    3. Click extract LBA.
    4. Click extract file and wait for it to finish.
    5. Click rebuild file and wait for it to finish.
    6. Click rebuild LBA.
    7. Burn the new iso with DVD Decrypter as usual.

I tried without rebuilding first and it wouldn't work, ESR got stuck at a blue screen.
Usually after the pinkish screen (a working game) the screen goes black for a split second then the game starts, but with this game after the pinkish screen it goes to blue and nothing happens.

I hope one of these methods work, the three methods I (finally) found with google lead to me making drink coasters instead of working backups.

I tried downloading Xpert from the RS link provided in the linked post but it has been removed by the uploader.
*Found another download for it, but it didn't have Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5 v1.04_iso.epi on the drop down list, found v1.05 of the plugin on some german forum and it worked like a charm.

This game was extremely hard to find so I'd rather play a backup of it and keep the original locked up in it's case somewhere safe.

Just like to say my way of rebuilding

I use a program called AnyToISO (google it you have to buy the full version for it to work with dvds)

I just rip the game in BIN format (purposely) and convert with AnyToISO
and the game is shrunken considerably as if rebuilt. I tried rebuilding
using cdvdgen and it gave me the same result as AnyToISO did

Some games do remain the same size like Metal Gear Sollid 3 but it works

I use it for saving space on my HDD when backing up games to it and
it does save a lot of space
And for games like Mercenaries:Playground of Destruction where the backup i
made freezed at the Pandemic Logo using ESR I just reripped, converted and burned and the problem was gone

    Hope this info. helps someone

Why pay for the program, when there are free methods and programs (my upmost respect to those that made them) posted that do work.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction works fine for me using ESR as is.

I guess then. Whatever works best for you.

Both Mercenaries games work for me without rebuilding using esr r9a. I haven't played them lately with r9b

I use Sony DVD-r also and burn at 4x speed.
