so i found a thread here earlier this month about replacing radio stations in GTA:SA and i've got all my files changed, but i'm not able to rebuild my iso to make the game playable.
i used iso builder to extract the files and get the filelist.txt http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...derorginal.jpg
but when i load the file list into cdgen it looks like this
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...orderwrong.jpg
i tried burning the iso from that, but it doesn't load. so what am i doing wrong?
thanks in advance for any advice

cdgen is really only for cd based games. Use Sony CDVDGenerator 2.0 to rebuild PS2 DVD based games & extract an iml file to use with Gnie's PS2 IML2DVD v4 for making the iso.

alright i finally got my image rebuilt, but now the game freezes if i let it scroll the opening credits, or hangs at the loading screen and just keeps playing the intro music. man this is getting frustrating. my new iso is about 230mb smaller than the original, i dont' know if that has anything to do with the problem or not?

Its most likely because you've modified that file on the disc. The PS2 is not like the PC, where you can go editing files without too much problem. Generally PS2 games require custom made tools to extract/rebuild certain files from larger compacted files on the disc, then to make sure the file's LBA is rebuilt, so the game still knows its a legitimate file. PS2 uses a lot of LBA checks that you need to make sure are still intact.
