Read Error

Can anyone help???
have tried using RecordNow max and Nero to copy Res Evil CodeX. Both successful (or so they tell me) on Ritek and on Tdk 4.7 DVD-R.
When I try to play in Ps2/Messiah 2 I get Read Error.This only happens on discs that I have burnt , all other peoples backups play OK. What am I doing wrong?

If other backups are ok then you need to use a higher quality media such as Ritek or Verbatim.

As you can see....he said he used Ritek......
Is the disc you are copying scratched up or anything?

yeah the disc is probably sratched. so your dvd-rom probably will have a better time reading it. so use recordnow max 4.50 and make a .gi of the game and then burn the image. should work.

Thanks for all your replies.Disc was scratched so I polished the scratches out made a new .gi and burnt at 2x instead of 1x and voila I now have a fully working backup
