+R and -R confusion on movies and games

Hi all

I am very confused here, maybe someone can help.

I have a V7 PAL ps2 with Messiah 2 Pro.

DVD movies work 100% on Verbatim +R but ps2 games do not work on +R, everything works on -R. I know you're gonna say stick with -R but the ps2 obviously accepts the +R format just not on the games. I am using an LG DVD writer and burning at 2.4x.

Any ideas ?

+R discs work in the PS2. I have found that some PS2's just like the -R media better. I really have no idea why, but my PS2 reads the +R's just fine, but my bud's will not. Go figure.
