Not unhelpful.
Because it gave me good info.
Specifically about the apache program.
And the link to that DVD decrypter program.
EDIT: BTW: you wouldn't happen to ALSO know of an audio converter program.
(almost anything to almost anything)
The last version of the program I have been using, sets off my antivirus programs sandbox mode >.<

Only unlocks the "3" that is the max limit.
The fact that I can only have 3, of a total of NINE,
has been a thorn in my side sence I got it >.<
Especially sence PC and xbox gets 5 >.<

Okay. Well, I have downloaded and tried a ton of software, including audio converters, but end up only using a couple of things. Anything audio was on one of my other computers (all bought cheap, cheap at university auctions, those guys are always updating their computers). I'll have to hook it up. The next couple days busy, so probably not til thurs or friday. You could ask in the off topic forum. I don't know where everyone has gone to in this part of "town" guess mostly to ps3 section.
Also, there is a program cdgenps2 that might be useful to you, for working with ps2 disc images. I don't know if it can do what you need but you might check it out. I just don't back up games except to mod a couple and they were on dvd. So I never had to deal with this subchannel business. I get all my games used. A used bookstore here sells games too and takes trades and the pawnshop sells games $4 US (ps2) and $10 (ps3). I am never in a hurry for the hottest game.

Alright, you rest up.
And thx for not giving up on me ^^;
ALSO... crying out loud man !!!
How many computers you got !?!?!? O_O
Mine is one I just put together from parts that cost me around 600 bucks off ebay.
I wouldn't even have it if my first didn't brake and I refused to keep using that dell POS that was my temp. (between first and this)
And is that "cdgenps2" program on "sksapps" as well ??

Yes, same page on Sksapps, ps2 miscellaneous.
Deleted the clutter, besides the one you built probably has more cores than all the computers I have together.
Freeware audioconvertors:
Quick meda Convertor, spartan interface, does audio and video, doesn't need codecs. Buttons a little confusing (output video option pull down box has the video and audio formats), but it's been updated at least twice since the version I have. I got mine from PC Utilities Magazine Issue 111 but I'll pm you the links.
Are you running Jurassic park from disc or hd? Have you tried making an iso from the disc, just burning that, and testing? I guess that wouldn't really get you anywhere. You clicked skip reading errors in Alcohol, were you getting some errors? What OS are you running on your pc? I did all mine with XP.
I can't believe no one else is giving you an answer. I still offer to delete my posts, then maybe someone else will help; they probably don't want to read through my long posts.

OK lets summerize:
I need to edit 2 INI files in an ISO disk, actually ON the game disk itself.
I've managed to extract the ISO from the disk-ISO I created with apache so I can replace the inner-ISO later.
But apache could NOT see the inner-ISO's files. (though it could open the ISO without error)
As a test, I opened the inner-ISO with alcohol and copied the 2 INI files out of it.
(unfortunately I can't overwrite them back in with my alcohol demo)
So I have the disk-ISO that I can edit.
The 2 INI files that have been edited...
And the inner-ISO that can NOT be edited.
Untill the inner-ISO can be edited, I must continue my search for software that can do it.
TO EVERYONE AT PSX-SCENE: Any assistance and program suggestion, would be appriciated.
(though I request that all programs be freeware)

Usually I stick with freeware, but I have been known to use demos if I can't find anything else ^.^
