pxengine update doesnt work?

Hi all,
I have tried to use the pxengine update 342.exe but it only prepares the installshield wizard, then nothing happens and the program ends. I have both record now max 4.1 and primo 2.0 and why doesnt the pxengine update work? have I done sth wrong? I started the exe right from my downlad directory.
Can anyone help me?

Actually, it worked just fine. You aren't the first person to scratch his head over this.

There's no confirmation screen that the patch was applied successfully, but if you ran the .exe and got the inital screen and then the program looked like it did something and ended, the patch was applied. There's just no confirmation.

Someone at Veritas just did a sloppy job of coding the app...
