psx logo freezes

my ps logo freezes when it boot my backups of psx games
i have a V7 with a messiah 2 pro
when i boot the game the playstation logo comes up like normal than plays the sound then it just sits there *forever and *ever
plz help

shitty version 7....almost certainly a Sanyo lazer unit ("open face"), and unless you tune that sucker just right, it never will.
Tough shit, since probably only 1 in 100 ps2 buyers ever bother to run a psx game on it, and likely only 1 in maybe 5 PS2's gets the "supplimantal substitue" Sanyo lazer (KHS, the makers of the good one, just cant make enough to meet the production demands, so rather than making 4 of 4 good ps2's, they make 4 out of 5 good ones) you're screwed, too bad, they figure it out by the math, and they expected at least 1 in 500 (from my "guestimated" figures) buyers to find out what you have,..... only one in about 5 version 7's are capable of playing psx originals, much less backups, and they expected you to return it for service, and guess what the Sony service center does? The reflash the bios and put a KHS400C in, that's what. My very first version 7 did that right out of the box, that sucker NEVER played psx, not even the originals, untill months later, I cranked up the cd pot myself, and all that time I thought that ALL version &'s couldnt play psx games. Any way, Sony gets to sell 499 Junk ps2's to the unsuspecting (again, out of every 3000 or so), that they would'nt have been able to produce, if not for the "substitute" lazer-roulette program they run. Noticed that PS2's from Foxxconn of China are more likely to have KHS installed, shile "SKZ-Kizarazu" made ps2's from Japan usually have Sanyo's, I'm guessing that KHS is also in China, and it's just down to who's closest to the supply, gets the goods.

what cdr media are you recording on? and what speed are you burning?

i tried fujifilm
and verabatim vinyl BLUE (mistubishi chemical corp.)
at 4x(lowest speed i can go )

i had troubles with the blue bottoms try the memorex ones clear bottoms that might work it did for me.
