I have a backup-iso of chrono cross on my harddrive and it works perfectly with different emulators, only problem is that when i burn it to a cd it doesnt work. I use nero, have a pal ps2 wiht a crystal chip and use verbatim cds.
The game is obviously a NTSC so its a import psx backup for my ps2.
Check the firmware you have for your crystal chip. Some firmware versions were giving problems playing ps1 games.
Other psx backups work :/ I think it might have to do with how i burn them :/
Try a different brand of CD-R and burn at the lowest speed possible. See if that makes a difference. I use TY CD-R and burn at 4x.
Also unless you have a NTSC capable TV, the screen will not look right.
Thanks for your help, but the problem was with my computer. I realized that the only working backups ive made were made on my brothers computer. I guess my burner isnt good enough :PQuote:
