i read in the dvd media sticky that maybe v4 ps2's cant read dvd+r or dvd-r discs?

i hope this isnt true because thats the type of ps2 i have

also ive tried burning games on fujifilm dvd+r's and the ps2 makes a wierd noise whenever it trys to read them

but, the fujifilm discs I have are the ones made in Taiwan and i heard those discs are krappy

can someone clear this up for me so i dont have to go buy a new ps2, I'm hopeing that I just have krappy media and need to get some better quality discs

If so would +r or -r be better from you guys past experiences?

    Would these work?

I have 2 V4 that work wonderful with any media. I hear though from a guy in the burning buisness that its better to use +r rather than -r in your ps2. Anybody can confirm this?

Stay on Dvd-r and you will never exeperience any problems
lot of customer who come to complain about slow loading times or not even loading disks are 9 of the 10 user of the +r media
when i put in a disk of my DVD-r those machine always run like a charm

that reason i only support Dvd-r
