PS2 Linux Backup –
I cannot get my backup of ps2 linux working. It prompts me to insert disc 2, so i swap for it. Then it prompts me to insert disc 1 again. After I get that to swap the screen just turns black. Does anyone know how to install a backup of ps2 linux?
a modchip that doesnt disable after initial boot up
There has to be another way of doing it. Possibly installing it from a PC onto the HDD. If anyone has any idea how I can install a backup of ps2 linux please respond.
Why do you want PS2 Linux anyways? What can you do with it?
a modchip is about the only way you will be able to install it. unless you were just pushing the eject button while changing disc instead of using a swap trick like a filptop/slider card or a neo no solder-r mod
It was my understanding that you needed the origional linux boot disk that came with the ps2 linux kit to even use the ps2 linux - either the official or unofficial ones...
Please tell me Im wrong (only if I actually am that is lol )
I figured it out. What I did was merge all the files from the two dvds onto one with CD-DVD_CREATOR and Apache. Then the disc booted fine and installed properly.
