ps2 HDD, when is it coming out?

when is it coming out? i've been reading about this for more than a year and am a bit sick of waiting. is it true you can store game images to the hard drive? plus what is the price? and which would you prefer, internal or external?

it's gonna be internal no matter what the ppl want...if it's external how da **** would u plug it in with the network adapter coverin all the ports

im starting to think that maybe it wount comeout, im sure they can make ffxi not use it fine (everquest)

and gettin the system and the drive seems kinda a lot 200 for ths sytem and last think i read was 150? for the drive thats 350 the xbox already has one in it (on 8gb but still) and thats 200

and anothing reason, addones hardly ever make it look at the CD addones for the 16 systems, and im sure alot of us know what happened with the SNES CD system

i love the PS2 its just gettin old now

the jap external hdd plugs into the back of the network adapter, obviously the ntsc will only be internal unless you want to buy a new network adapter(if they even come out with one with the back port)
