I would not do any multigame-dvds (it'll go wrong I promise) - just do the single cd to dvd![]()
That's the same I found on the other thread and that I attached the link =P
About multigame, I don't want to do it personally.. it's only because I got a CDR games that I must use breakerpro to boot, but my breaker pro disc is ****ed up and is detected 1 on 10 times =.=
Hello, Hi everyone! I'm not new at this but I am to the ps2 age. I have a magic V chip my dvd backups works fine but the system won't play my psx1 backups, I backuped a copy of my Battle Assault 3 onto an cdr and it worked fine and now I get the same message on my PS2 when I insert a backup CDR, "Please insert a playstation or Playstation 2 formated disc.", the DVD works fine but not the CDRs. Could someone tell me what am I doing wrong and why my backuped CDRs will not work
Uh, Im pretty sure a Magic V chip should be able to boot ps1 and ps2 cd-r.
1. Maybe your laser is out of sync (laser has separate setting for cd and dvd). Try inserting a audio cd-r ... does it play? Try different cd-r media.
2. Maybe the backups where bad, try using Clonecd or if u use other tool try using RAW and DAO/96 if possible.
3. Or maybe your chip dosnt read cd-rs ... then u need the Breaker Pro v1.1 to play ps1 backups and Swap Magic discs to play ps2 cd backups
