ps2 backups anything like xbox backups?
ps2 backups anything like xbox backups? –
I'm a noob with the ps2 scene, and i was wondering if the technique for backing up ps2 games are similar to xbox games. I mean, with xbox you need a specific file creator and patchers and whatnot. Is it possible to use DVD decryptor for the entire proccess of backing up of games? Thanks ahead for any information.
yeap just make the iso then write it
For real, do you have to connect the ps2 to your computer and ftp the game across?
ftp it to what you want to play burnt dvdr games right just burn it the swap it in with flip top or use mod chip
\do you have a hdd in your ps2
No, i am getting a ps2 for christmas and i'm going to get a chip for it pronto. I have an xbox and the way backups work for it is that you have to ftp the files from the xbox over to the computer because the computer can't read xbox formatted games. Then i create the iso using an xbox iso creater, then burn it and play it. Is the ps2 method similar to this or no?
no just stick teh game in your computer right an image of it ( useing the right media =r -r depend on modle wich ones im not sure) and sitck it in chiped should boot right up and fliptop will need a swap
OHHH, so the the computers can read the ps2 format? I see i see. is there anywhere i can get a tutorial for anything? Or where i could find a list of the programs i'll need to do this? What is fliptop?
