Because thats DVD Video, not a PS2 Format disc.......

Are you patching it for ESR? If so, did you try running ESR with the disc & disabling the modchip?

Im not really sure what you are doing with the disc, so i dont know how to help you.

Oh and i ignore PMs for questions that belong in the open forums.

Sounds like NTSC is the correct setting to use, but my guess is your ISO is not good, i would re-rip the game and make a fresh ISO and try it again.

Does the original disc work ok?

the game is pal but my other pal games work and this is the second copy i burned at slowest speed on sony disc. ikll try to redo later because i got to get a new rip.the orginal works somewhat it freezes at solmeparts but it still loads i wanted to make a backup but i didnt want to use that ione since the backup i made also freezes and i paid to get it fixed but it still freezes around the end so i just got a different backup which was pal and screen moves down, btw same with gow2

This is why xbox is better never got problems and its a version 1.0 with thomson drive. Too bad it doesnt have the good games like ps2

Are you using IMGBurn or DVD Decrypter to rip with? Thse are among the best rip apps for DVD Games.

If your original disc is giving freeze problems, then that could also contribute to a bad rip from errors. The disc might be scratched or have excessive fingerprints or dust/dirt stuck to it as well. Clean the disc as best you can.

If you can run the original disc ok, then a good rip & burn on good disc media should also work, without needing to do any configuration changes to your chip.
