    Hi all,

I have riped from original DVDs with Primo RecordNow Max (updated) and Nero 5.5.9.0 these two games:

    - Warjetz (1.48 GB)
    - Warriors of the Might and Magic (1.07 GB)

Both games use the "3DO" logo. And both are NTSC U/C.

This is my first time I cannot able to run the both games (burned directly to DVD-R discs) on my PlayStation 2.

I have rip & burn over 20 DVDs games without any problem, all works fine, including big size games like FFX, MGS2 and Silent Hill 2.

I tried to apply EA generic patch, but still the games doesn't work.

Any help or hint here please?

    Thanks,
    Gradius

    I found out the problem.

This game not work if I use GameShark v2.21, I dunno if will work using another version. v2.21 is the last one?

Where can I found the code to disable GameShark check on these two games?

As far as I know, there's no such thing as GameShark code checking done in any PS2 game. You problem lies elsewhere, especially if you're using a swap-mod...

In over 20 DVDs titles (all DVD-R) these two games was the only one don't work here with GameShark, even using the originals titles (DVD and not DVD-R), don't work with GameShark.

And was games from 3DO company only.

I recall a CD-R release of Warriors of Might and Magic being done a while back and there was no mention of any issues with a GS2 or the need to patch code for it.

Perhaps you got a hold of a few bad DVD-R blanks if you're creating a GI image to HD first. I burn Apple media at 2X on an A03 and nary have a problem with PrimoDVD or playback. Haven't tired WoMaM tho... didn't catch my interest...

No, there's nothing wrong with media or backup process. I used RecordMax Now (last version for PrimoDVD), Pioneer A03 (f. v1.68) and the size for both games are pretty smaller:

    - Warjetz.gi (1.48GB)
    - Warriors of Might and Magic.gi (1.07GB)

Both was created by using original DVD PS2 titles.

Just I said before, same using the original DVD PS2 titles, it don't work with GameShark v2.21. I tried "start game without codes" and "start game with codes", using the right codes for each game of course. And don't work.

It must be a problem with GameShark v2.21 CD, what's the last version for GameShark CD anyway?

i'm not sure what the latest version of gameshark is, but i bought a sharkboard a week ago and it came with a gameshark 1.93 disk which is probably the best one if you are using a no soider mod chip. i don't know how may sharkboards come with that disk, but i know the one i got was shipped recently, because i had been waiting for electronics boutique to get one in.
