CDRWin has been the most reliable for me. Fireburner is a good program too. I wouldn't do Nero for bin's if you paid me.

Arrrrr, I gets more "speed" errors when using Nero for some reasons....but me CDRWIN runs like a champ, so it does! Of course, I perfers ta use CloneCD for most things, so I do.

I use a legit copy of CDRWin and never have a problem with either my Plextor (SCSI) or Yamaha (IDE).

I've also taken quite a liking to BlindWrite Suite (BlindRead/BlindWrite) as it far outperforms CloneCD in handling discs that CloneCD choked on (especially backing up GS2/AR2.)

Balto is the newest legit version of CDRWin 3.8? Whats up with the 4.0 and 5.0's floating around?

v3.9b is the lastest version available over at www.goldenhawk.com and finally has driver support for the Pioneer A03/4/5 and 103/4/5 burners (CD-R side only - no DVD support)

As for v4.0a, it was a Beta that was available for a while, but has been superceeded by v3.9a or b now.

V5.0 is a German knockoff and has nothing to do with Goldenhawk.

Believe me, buying a legit key is a good cheap investment to prevent burning coasters, especially since Radium quit producing good keygens. My key has worked with every upgrade since v3.7 and even works with the current v3.9b. If you're a student, you can even get it at a discount...

Im always using nero-it works best with my Philips burner.
I tried fireburner few times-and always the same problem it cant finalize(close) cd's- it cant stop to burn cd,so i need to restart my pc to open cd tray, because it wont open, when this ****in fireburner is destroying my cd's.
My rewriteter isnt supported by CDRWIN,so i cant use this program.
    NERO IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
