Problems backing up The Getaway

I've backed up loads of games to DVD-R using my Pioneer 104 but The Getaway doesn't seem to work. I've tried Datawrite (which I find really reliable) and FWS brands but none have booted. I have the latest Messiah chip. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Is it likely that it is just a media problem and using Verbatim media would work?

It's very likely the media. Try a Verbatim, TDK, Pioneer, or Apple burned at 2x.
