problems with backed-up dvd-r game on ver.4 DMS3

I had my ps2 modded from xmodd.com, seems to work great. I made a backup of Tiger Woods 2004 using DVD decryptor, tried to limit the read speed to 1x to avoid errors but it forces itself to at least above 5x every time (Any suggestions)

I used good media "verbatim datalife dvd-r" for the disc, have the firmware of my plextor 708-a up to date at 1.04, and burnt the disc at 1x. This is why I assume the ISO got the errors because it was reading the disc too god damn fast. I forgot to mention that the Tiger Woods game loads fine up until after the main menu, then the music starts to skip and the sub-menus take forever to go through. I got it to go to the games loading screen but it just seemed to keep loading for 10 mins.

If anyone has any experience with this or a similar problem, I could really use some advice.

You can also used record max now or alcohol 120% to make a image and then burn it on a dvdr.

Have you tested your media for 2X capability? A lot of 1X burns on 2X certified media load like crap or fail, but run flawlessly when burned at 2X.
