Problem with Timesplitters 2

I got a backup of Timesplitters 2 on cd-r, and The story mode don't work. Whenever I pick the first level for story mode it says "Loading", but then it just jumps to the browser screen. I'm not real sure if the Story mode was ripped out (which I don't think it was suppose to be), or somethings wrong. If anyone got any idea what's wrong it'd be appreciated.

The NFO file that accompanied the CD-R rip should have stated what was eliminated. As the original was DVD format, odds are a number of things were left out...

I didn't download it myself, I traded it with someone and they have no idea if the story was ripped out or not. I looked though at some rips for Timesplitters 2 and every group that released them said nothing about ripping the story out. So, wouldn't see why they would.

I have the original DVD of TS2 and ive made a few successfull rips of it.. All that goes is the music mate.. Ive never had a problem with the story mode being axed! Oh and im using a PAL original

Yep, I don't think they would have taken the story out that's why I was seeing if any1 had a similar problem. I pick the level for story mode, and it says now loading and just jumps back to the browser screen (never had any game do that to me). Be different if it froze or something.
