Problem with Backups grrrrrrrrrrr

Ok I payed 60 bucks for that dms3 v9 chip for my 50001 ps2 and i cant even play any dvd backups of games!(cd-r Backups just work fine )Ok I have recordnow Max 4.5 and i tryed using sony dvd-r 2x discs,they wouldent work,next i tryed tdk 2x dvd-r and succsefully made a back up with no errors but when i go to boot it,it wont even boot,i hit reset a couple times and it shows the ps2 logo thing when it boots a game like normal but the screen stays black,so then i boot up the ps2 and hold down x for ps2 mode but does the same thing,now the weird thing is i have other games i backed up on 2x memorax dvd-rs i boot up the ps2 and hold x and it boots those back ups just fine that way! and i just spent 100 bucks on 4x memorax dvd-rs need help please would apricate it thanks!

try Prassi Primo make a image of the original and then burn it dont worry it would work!!!

Ok Where do i get that program?

Try booting to the browser first. Where you can see the memory card info. Then insert your DVD-r backup, and then the gold disc should appear on the screen. Now hit X, and the game should boot.

Wohooooo ty wildman so much it actuaally booted and works great oh yeah i used nero by the way also 1 more thing can i use nero to back up xbox games like i back up ps2 games?

No prob, glad I could help. As far as using nero for your xbox games. You have to ftp them to your computer in order to burn them. But other than that, I dont see why Nero wouldnt work. Personaly I dont have an Xbox yet, but hopefully soon!
