PrimoDVD and run-time error 9
PrimoDVD and run-time error 9 –
10-05-2002,05:41 PM
I tried opening PrimoDVD and I keep getting "run-time error 9, Subscript out of range."
Also here is the wierd part! I just tried to open it while typing this message to get the correct error, and guess what, it opened fine. This worked 2x and now it is back to the above error.
Your thoughts?

Could be on of two things off the top of my head.
1.) You need to apply the latest Px Engine update available at the Veritas web site and then reboot.
http://www.veritas.com/us/products/recordnow/drivers/
2.) You're running Win2k or XP and the Microsoft supplied ASPI layer drivers plain suck. Try to locate ASPI4ALL (a generic version of Adaptec's v4.60 APSI drivers which don't require an Adaptec controller and is much more stable than v4.70) and update your drivers and reboot.
If you can't find it, PM me and we can make arragements...

I have downloaded Px Engine before and it did the same thing. As for the ASPI drivers, I am running Win 98SE and don't know if I need to update them. If you have them for 98SE please send them PM to me. It may be my problem.
