If i got Grand Theft Auto - Vice City and copied it all to my hdd and then ripped out the .pss and music and replace it with empty files, then burn on cd-r would it work?

Arrrrrrrrr tis not quite that simpbe me hearty. GTA: VC is a DVD rom, so first ye'll needs a DVD player in yer PC, then ya needs what's called a "RIP KIT" fer the dvd. I'm not a two sure where's ya can gets a rip kit...I know where ya can get patches for rips, but not the kits themselves....so I don't. I hope that gets ye started.
First of all i have a dvd rom drive, and i wouldn't need to patch, (i have magic 3). so i might just try it.
i believe you would need a patch.. u get it past the dvd-checks.

so where could i find one or make one? is it to get rid of the DVD9 stuff? causee my Magic 3 does that anyway.
gta vice city is unrippable at the moment. no one has done it successfully yet. i think it screws up when it bypasses the first cutscene.
When ripping other games ,dont u have to have hex editer to change the hexs on the main file. i only have ever ripped one game,tony hawks pro skater 3 and i had to do that.
