I cant make backup/image from GTA Vice City DVD-R/ one of mine old DVD-Rs/ ......at 92% have a Read ERROR

.....but is still posible to copy/paste all files from DVD-R to HDD
All files and fulders copyed at HDD OK
? is how to return them back to DVD-R / which mode i must use and which software /??!!
2nd ? is - Is the thisway copy will work at PS2 ??

My history has shown if you get a read error extracting an image then you are screwed. Try cleaning the disc carefully. Scratches will also produce read errors. If you got DVD's to burn you can try burning from the copy you put on the hard drive, but I don't know if that will work either. Most likely you have corruption in that as well.

You can also get read errors if your drive isn't set to master.

that doesn't make any sense at all.... the disc is at fault.

I have seen it happen several times. They get read errors when their burner is set to slave and then it works fine once they switch it to master.
