  1. #1 Question Please tell me what I'm doing wrong
    Babagadoosh Guest
Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I have a Version 7 PS2 with a DMS3 modchip in it. I can successfully backup and play my DVD, PS1, and PS2 CD Backups. But when I do a PS2 DVD backup I get nadda! The furthest I get is the browser screen where you can access your memory card. It brings up a picture of the disc and it actually says "playstation 2 disc", but when you click on it to load it, it brings you to the "please insert playstion or playstation 2 disc" screen. I am open to any and all suggestions on this matter. I thank you in advance.

This used to happen when the disk can not be read correctly. Suggestion is to try other media, and/or the azimuth tweak + a little pot tuning might help. (of course this should be done carefully)

    regards, Stephen

as Babagadoosh said try a different media, get a decent one and try to burn at slower speed.

  5. #5 I solved the problem

Thanks for your advice. I solved the problem. What I had to do was adjust the laser on my PS2. Once I did that it worked like a charm.
