Playstation 2 DVD Backups with CDgen

Hi all ! :)
I want to make some Backups of my fav. Playstation 2 Pal Games but I haven't a mod-chip No Swap disc or something like that only a normal Playstation 2 with a memory card and some games.
But I don't know how to create a right working Playstation 2 Disc.
Can I copy a DVD or have I to split it into some parts ?
Can I burn onto 700MB Discs ? Because I have read, I can only burn on maximal 650MB.
Has anyone a 1:1 Step Tutorial ?:)
I already used the Search Function, but I haven't found anything.
And does it matter which PS2 Game I want to burn or are the steps for everygame same ? (I mean normal games, which fits on a normal DVD).

I filled into the search case "CDgen" but I haven't found anything usefull.

Simple answer - No, you can't make a bootable disk with CDGen. You need a chip or SM discs to play backups.

Hmm..Are you sure ? A friend has burned 1 Game (PS1) 20x times with CDgen and one of the 20 Copies runs. And he has not a swap disc or a chip.
And this swap disc: Is it a normal swap disc which I can find when I buy AR ?

Sony CD/DVD Generator is a program used to make ps2 copies. You need to have a license from Sony in order to use it legally. Dont ask for it here. I hope this helps.

Jeah, I think I'm able to buy (;)) it, but if I have it, I will be able to create copies which I can play without swap magic and a modified console ?^^

no there is no way to boot backups w/o swapping or having a chip inside your ps2. lol what do you think this is a PC?

What is so special on the PS2 that nobody has cracked it ? (I mean in the way without help tools like Mod-chips and swap discs)
What is the different between how Sony print their discs in the fabric and how we burn it ?
