When the chip is off, it uses the origional bios, when the chip is on, it uses the hacked bios. i dont think you can, i dont have a mod chip for my ps2, just xbox. otherwise the only thing that pops into my mind is no, and only with swapmagic.
-Correct me if im wrong someone

As far as I know, not all chips can play "backup" games online without the backup being altered. However, some have support for unaltered images...

If I'm able to play online, will Sony catch me or anything? Or will it be fine.
And does anyone know if WWE Smackdown VS. Raw 2006 can be played online with a modchip? Or a site where I can get a list of games or something.

If you want to play online with a copy, then you need to patch the iso with the correct DNA$ Disc ID. When this is done, DNA$ no longer detects your chip anyway.
The only games that cannot be played online with a copy are the US versions of Socom 2, and Socom 3.
Would I be able to use blockbuster ones? Or does sony watch out for those. I read that they monitor the ones found on sites.
The DNA$'s I mean.

The full DNA$ ID is never posted (at least, not at backupscene anyway), only the last 3 sets of it - you fill in your own digits for the 1st 2 sets, so Sony can't ban anyone.
Besides, if they did ban one Disc ID, then they'd most likely end up banning quite a lot of people. The IDs aren't unique to each disc, they are pressed into the disc in batches, so more than 1 disc will have the same ID.
BTW: This really should of been posted in the Online Gaming forum. In fact, had you looked there 1st, most likely your questions would of been answered.
