    do they work? currently the games i want to play online are madden 2004, nba live 2004 and espn basketball. they are all dvd-r backups and im planning to use them in a dms v2 chip. i completely new to this so i don't even know what the general situation is with backups and online play. thanks.

    no, I hear Socom (not Socom 2) works on a dvd-r online, not sure, you should search and read up more about it though.

    There's nothing to share. The game gives you a DNAS error and that's it. This has been covered countless times.

    only a FEW games play online if you have them on dvd-r ... all games released after Everquest have DNAS.. that means you cannot play if you dont have the original version.

    you can play backups online if they dont have DNAS, such as SOCOM, Midnight Club II and few others...

    actually, i recall hearing that the pal version of socom 1 had dnas as well.

    basically, anything recent and from now on, you wont be playing a backup of online.
