I just got my A04 and installed it. But i'm also running a Toshiba DVD-Rom/CD-r/rw. The problem is, Primo only has the Toshiba DVD-Rom as a selectable burn drive or reader, and the A04 only selectable as a reader. The A04 is running as master, and i've done everything i can think of except removing the Toshiba (but i don't want to do that, i want to be able to make direct dvd2dvd copies. If anyone can help me in my dillema, it would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks
    Brian

Got to the Veritas web site. Download and apply the latest Px Engine update to your install of PrimoDVD and then reboot. That should solve your problem...

I run an A03 with PrimoDVD on a dual-boot box with Win98SE and Win XP Pro. I would still suggest applying the Px Engine update so that you can use the current "split" GI image format (backwards support for FAT16 and FAT32 users who don't have NTFS.)

The only thing I did to was to update the horseshit ASPI drivers that Microsoft ships with XP to Adaptec v4.60 ASPI drivers.

You might also want to check this site for any firmware updates available for your A04. http://www.firmware.fr.st/
