People with v12 PS2s what media do you use?

I'm having trouble with all medias I try, I think my laser just might be bad, but the problem is I have to reset a game 3 or more times to get it to boot, sometimes it boot immediatly... sometimes it needs to be resetted alot to boot, I have tried Fujifilm DVD-R, Verbatim DVD-R, Maxell DVD-R, TDK DVD-R, and Maxell DVD+R, the Maxell DVD+R seems to be the one that works best but it stilll doesn't boot 100% of the time, though usually I only have to reset once to make it work, so what media do you guys use?

I use Memorex DVD+R. Works flawlessly for me.

i use tdk and verbatim dvd+rs for my pstwo.i never had a problem with them they boot perfectly every time,but once i used ritec +rs and i couldnt boot from them but maybe it was just a faulty disc i dont know.

I got some sony DVD+R and they weren't any good either

been reading aroudn, apparently verbatim dvd-rs r very good, and the ritek g04 dvd-rs

ritek g05 dvd-rs are not good apparently

would like to know which ones are good to use too, gettin my ps2 modded atm

If you want to cut through all of the BS, then just go and get discs straight from the manufacturer. Most companies (ie Verbatim, Sony, TDK) outsource to several different manufacturers so the results can be very different from person to person. Go with the best quality manufacturer and stick with Taiyo Yuden (they make some of the batches of discs for the name brands listed above). Some burners will burn them at 8x with no problems.

Yeah TYs are very good from what I heard, right now Im using verbatim DVD-R and they work very well, but Im going to pick up some TYs and maybe some Ritek G04s. I dunno.

yes taiyo yuden is the best manf. for dvd-r, the pi/po chart is higher than any other media ive tested.

I use arita dvd-r, they are ritek g05 as wel and work flawlessly in my pal v9, v10, v11 and v12
