    hi i'm new at backing up ps2 games have put the game on my hd with dvd decrypter and it came out in 2 files one is zipped.
    how do i burn it onto a dvd and which one do i use.
    do i unzipp the file or not
    my ps2 is a magic swap so i know it will play backups
    please help i'm at my wits end with all this

    DVD decrypter will never make zip files, so your wrong there, u probably have winrar installed and winrar givews the ISO file a winrar icon.

    Now, the other one is probably and MDS file.

    Just burn the iso with NERO, or DVD decrypter (go to MODE then choose "ISO write" in dvd decrypter)

    its extremely easy to backup your PS2 games, and there are 1.000.0000 odd tutorials and tips about it all over the internet.

    I myself just use Alcohol 120% for ripping and burning the ISOs. But everyone else here seems to say Nero works, so i'd say go with it.

    I don't see why any special programs are really needed for doing this, since PS2 discs aren't an obscure format or don't really have copy protection. (other than the need for a mod chip)
